 Changes in Longhorn Build 4074 since earlier build
- Windows Shell has been optimized to improve system browsing time.
- There are many more sidebar tiles in Longhorn 4074 release.
- Some checkboxes glitch are now fixed in Longhorn build 4074.
- Hardware and Devices has taken the place of Device Manager.
- The Taskbar Properties dialog has now been reworked, with new options for the Sidebar.
- New Visual Style, called "Jade" included in this build of windows Longhorn.
- New Notification History Sidebar Tile shows most recent Message Alerts, (Windows Update, Activation, etc...)
- Easy drop-down menu (next to 'Shutdown') allows you to select your method of shutting down more easily.
- Windows networking Core Much Improved in this build.
- Longhorn prompts to report to Microsoft when an unsupported driver is installed.
- The clock tile is now locked to the bottom of the sidebar
- An alarm feature has been added to clock.
Known issues in Windows Longhorn Build 4074
- Memory Consumption is Still Unbelievably High when the Sidebar is Turned on.
- Basket tile is possibly glitchy, as it doesn't seem to do anything.
- The new folder option is non-existent, Possibly because of the new menu item near the top.
- Synchronize tile won't work when WinFS is disabled.
